SVEGRO CONCEPT – Smaker som växer. (Growing flavours.)
Svegro is a local Swedish grower. Öppet helped grow the brand (see what we did, there? For Swedish readers: yes, the copywriter is from Göteborg). Anyway, we curated product innovations, created a new visual identity and tonality for advertising and social media and designed a new logo, new packaging etc. All under the conceptual umbrella: Smaker som växer.
Results: Increased brand awareness with 70% (from low levels, but still), sales increased for the first time in 5 years and December was best month in history.
Awards: 50 watt in 100-wattaren (Swedish Effie), Silver Egg in Guldägget, Sweden’s most prestigious creative award.
What we learned: Being transparent, honest and small can mean big business. People and media like new, unusual ideas. To become premium in a category, and avoid getting hit by Private labels, you have to innovate.
